I would recommmend if you are having this problem to uninstall free software that came with your pc and remove google toolbar and setup vista toolbar instead. This is most likely due to Vistas new way of handling hardware which is very different from that of XP.   WARNING - This is not to be taken lightly - I am tempted to wipe off the vista and reload the xp, but I kind of wanted to keep one with vista to see if I liked it.
