I am currently also using ASUS and I'm removing the folder via "Add or Remove programs". Not sure how I got it- maybe a PUP that rode in on something else, but darned if I know how. And pleaes keep helping like this. I can't get into anything. Yes I know there's a difference between Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer but it worked for me ! If the other files still remain, follow the steps included in my blog post to remove it.
