Problems With AVG 7.1

Just to be sure, I booted up, reinstalled AVG 7.1. Thanks to rdsok and Anoqoq for patience and help

It wasn't a problem with version 7.0. To configure the firewall in AVG 7.1 AntiVirus Plus Firewall: Open the AVG Control Center (right-click on AVG tray icon and select "Launch Control Center") Select AVG Firewall and click the next to the Path text field, browse to the location for CTI Navigator.exe (see program location note below), and then click Open. Uninstalled Ashampo firewall and up dates now work. see this here

Completely mystified, I rebooted and exactly the same thing happened again. Once reported, our moderators will be notified and the post will be reviewed. After shutting down the PC, I then started it up again about an hour later. Click the Firewall component.

I have uninstalled Ashampoo Firewall and switched MS Firewall on and AVG updates without any problem. Easiest way is to download the install file and run it. Updater refuses to....

  • Click on "Temporarily disable AVG protection".
  • Also, when enabling/disabling a firewall always follow that with a reboot or in some cases your action will not be "active".
  • When it is finished I have to set my network settings again.
