Can't find your answer ? The systems runs ok with only 8 GB, but as a professional photographer and videographer, it just takes to many waiting moments now. I had a lot of apprehension about Radeon because of myths surrounding it, most of it... For me the CPU waterblock was overlapping the Southbridge waterblock a little bit (but still "enough") or rather was pressing against it then (I am using an Aquacomputer one)."Edited by Neon

I havent found a consistent solution that works and frankly think they sold me a crock of s**t with this board. If that does not work, try different Ram. When the system is cold it doesn't want to boot up on the first try. I'm using the 3.01 BIOS with a 4960X.

my initial chipset block could not be installed due to the placement of the inlet/outlet that sits right below the CPU block. Then testing your internal parts GPU,HDD... Tried booting without the SSD, and without the video card. I have a set of MIPS nickel delrin blocks on my Extreme 11 system and they get the job done. The Noctua NH-D14 is not made for the LGA 2011 socket so I had to get the adapter made by them - it was an absolute NIGHTMARE installing that thing -
