Problem With Microsoft Works

I get a generic error message saying "Microsoft Works 8 has encountered a problem and must close." It does not say what problem. When I click on an item in My Documents, I can finally get it to open in Works. There was an error retrieving your Wish Lists. My hard drive is 38.2 gb and only 3.86 left. http://olivettipc.com/problem-with/problem-with-microsoft-works-8-5.html

Please re-enable javascript to access full functionality. still not sure how to use the center icon thingy it keeps saying I have to "spread it around" huh? I've tried replacing existing files with the backups, but they don't run so it looks like the problem is not with the calendar data files themselves, but something more basic to a few years ago, MS tech support spent a lot of time trying to fix a Works problem was having. In fact, if you can get your current version of Works reinstalled, that would be better. Could i please get some help regarding this frustrating issue i have.

That is, should I be concerned about which version I buy?Sorry to be so rambling but I'm kind of up in the air about how to preserve the stuff I have One more thing I tried was going to the Add/Remove program on the Control Panel. I guess I will just do my recipe file one at a time so they can be alphabetized in a new file in OpenOffice. I had an unsettling day with my HP yesterday while printing labels.

Check This Out I just sent a crazy (everything on it hold the anchovies) file to a friend to see if she can open it without any difficulty.

Their forum indicates that .wps doesn't work well with OpenOffice.

I don't use Microsoft Office though it came pre-installed on the computer when I bought it back in 2003, or so. There may be a problem with your computer's hard drive. What are the file extensions of the saved files in "My Documents"?It sounds like the program has become corrupt.
