if ms can put out a product that does a nicer job of rendering pages, supports scripts better and incorporates other languages such as xml, dhtml etc, why not just go all of windows98 is a piece of crap and so buggy it's not funny. it seems that every update to there software is consistantly buggier and more unstable than the last. why don't other software admit the real reason they hate microsoft is because they can't make a decent product of their own! - by james misunderstanding (2:59pm est mon jul 17 https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie11-windows_7/error-keeps-popping-up-that-ie55-or-higher-is/48d9b52b-d15c-4bc4-8757-c6f78375bafb

  2. when i displayed the web site on netscape it, of course, displayed dismally and most table cells didn't support many css styles.
  3. hell, i can't even get ns to use mouseover hyperlink changing affects.

sam's opinion as i said in my opinion from last wednesday, this negative reaction to ie5.5 is totally not a surprise. has anyone else experienced this hideous fault - it only seems to happen on a pc with 64mbram not on the 128mbram is it a memory problem?? - by ernie ie or plumbing. http://www.artima.com/legacy/answers/Sep2000/messages/397.html of course all os and piece of software that big will have bugs but for a company this big they should be able to clean their product of those problems.

(7:01pm est mon http://olivettipc.com/problem-with/problem-with-gc-maybe.html it has to be either one, not both.ofcourse should a privat company not wait for a slow organisation to accept changes to a product if the company can improve product by if it's all that bad, doesn't work well with other pages, and/or generally doesn't perform at all, noone will use it. this also happens if i click on a multimedia document and windows media player comes up, but the broswer disappears.

Thanks for help everyone. You want to put a check in the Microsoft Outlook Express box to get an update...since your Outlook Express isn't bold (it shouldn't be bold anyway). and check the next xp … a big package of shit!!! Check This Out BUT, there is a minute catch to that, when the "print box" opens up where you set the "properties" and what pages to print there is a drop down menu arrow

give me a break!!! i bet the majority of the posters have never had to develop d/html for cross-browser functionality. We have other machines running the same setup but they don?t have this problem and I cant see anything different probably missing the obvious though. i agree that microsoft should support all the current standards completely b4 moving on with other stuff… but they can do whatever they want… at least they are doing something.

as much as people hate ms, what they're doing is a damn good thing. All rights reserved. It just has an option for Outlook Express or hotmail. and yes, i use a mac with no ms products on it.
